Join our creative agency as our new web developer. We've been established for over 10 years and have a wide variety of clients all over the UK. We are based in the fresh and creative city of Sheffield but we are able to offer our expert services to anywhere in the UK.

Our team are a friendly bunch and the environment of the business is collaborative and supportive, meaning you’ll have the chance to work alongside the team to create innovative solutions to client needs. The company is expanding, so you’ll be joining our current team of 10, made up by website developers, designers and digital marketing specialists. With the company’s exciting plans for the next year, there will be rapid growth and numerous opportunities for you to work with some diverse and inventive website projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a website developer to take their career to the next level and be part of a collaborative team working on creative and fun projects.

Main Information

- Full time
- Based in Sheffield office
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (or based on experience)


Responsibilities
- Creation of client websites using WordPress and other popular Content Management Systems - utilising HTML, CSS, PHP, Bootstrap, MySQL and JQuery
- Creation of bespoke websites and customisable website templates
- Manage the delivery of internal and client website projects to brief and deadline
- Working with designers to create website prototypes and concepts

Essential Skills/Requirements
- Degree 2:2 or above in a web based qualification and/or relevant experience 
- Knowledge of content management systems e.g. WordPress, Joomla 
- PHP
- HTML
- CSS
- MySQL
- Object Oriented Programming experience
- Enthusiastic, confident, self-starter with strong teamwork skills
- Excellent English skills - written, verbal and grammar
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Enjoy collaboration with others - we have regular developer meetings to share ideas and best practice


Desirable Skills
- 1-2 years+ experience in a web developer role
- Experience of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- UI/UX best practice
- SEO best practice
- Knowledge of cPanel
